When it comes to new home construction, our
firm  has a strong belief that an organized,
cooperative effort between the "team" of interior
designer, builder, architect and other entities
involved are crucial to the success of a quality
built home and meeting the needs of a new home
owner.

Here's a recent example:
The lower level of an "empty nester" couple's
newly built home is to be utilized as guest space,
most  frequently for their children and
grandchildren.  After examining the first set of
plans from the builder, Bruce noted that the two
larger bedrooms were of different dimensions.
One large enough for a King bed, but the other
could only accommodate a Queen bed and he
informed the client.
To eliminate the potential of a disastrous future family reunion, we redesigned the Queen
bedroom and made adjustments to the adjacent room in order to accommodate a King bed and
worked with the "team" on the changes in the planning stage before the foundation was poured.  

The client was extremely happy that this issue was worked out on paper before costly change
orders had to be made later in the project!
